Mr. Venu Gopal is a seasoned industry veteran with over two and a half decades of experience in the Leather Garments and Accessories sector. Having earned a Master's degree (M. Des.) in Leather Garments Design and Technology from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, he has contributed significantly to the industry across diverse domains, including Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, Costing, and Sourcing.
His extensive experience encompasses senior leadership roles on both the buying and manufacturing sides of the business. His global travels for business development and sourcing have further broadened his industry perspective.
Mr. Venu Gopal has also served as a freelance Marketing and Sourcing Consultant, working with manufacturing units and factories throughout India. His expertise extends beyond leather accessories and garments to encompass a wide range of products, including kids' footwear, silver jewelry, brassware, and stationery.
With a proven track record of independently handling substantial businesses in leather garments, handbags, and accessories, Mr. Venu now imparts his practical knowledge and experience to the students of FDDI Hyderabad as a Senior Faculty Grade-I and HOD for the LGAD.
