Profile & Biography
Mr. Kodiganti Harish Kumar, Faculty in the School of Fashion Design, brings over 11 years of combined academic and industry experience. He holds B.Tech in Textile Technology from Osmania University, Master of Fashion Management from NIFT, and M.Tech in Apparel Technology from Osmania University, has qualified the UGC-NET, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Vignan University. His expertise spans fabric artistry and enrichment techniques, craft revival and heritage textiles, sustainable design practices, and apparel production and pattern engineering. With professional roles as Industrial Engineer, Product Specialist, Academic Coordinator, In-charge HOD, and Placement Coordinator, he has built strong academic-industry linkages.
He has authored multiple SCI and Scopus-indexed publications in medical textiles, craft revivals, and solar textiles, contributed to consultancy projects under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and received recognition as Best Paper Presenter in national conferences conducted by NIFT. He also serves as a Reviewer for the Journal of Natural Fibers (Taylor & Francis) and the International Journal of Engineering Science and Application.
