Profile & Biography
A distinguished Footwear Technologist and academician with over 27 years of cross-industry experience, He is an alumnus of the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), belonging to the prestigious SFT batch of 1999. He holds a dual Master’s degree — one in Commerce and another in Business Administration with specializations in Human Resources and Finance, blending technical mastery with strategic management acumen. He has spent 11 years in the footwear manufacturing industry and 16 years as a Senior Faculty Grade II at FDDI. His core technical expertise spans Footwear Manufacturing, heading Research & Development, Production Planning & Control, and Product Costing. He has held key industry roles at Suri Shoe Pvt. Ltd. (Kanpur), Gupta Overseas (Agra), Ponds Export (Pondicherry), and as Marketing Head at Indian Amour System Pvt. Ltd. Transitioning to academia, he served as Senior Faculty Grade II at FDDI Noida (2010–2012), where he also delivered international consultancy projects in Ethiopia and Bangladesh. He then moved to FDDI Rohtak (2013–2018), teaching M.Des. and B.Des. students of the Fashion Design & Production (FDP) program. Since 2019, he has been based at FDDI Fursatganj, instructing both B.Des. FDP and MBA students. He has contributed to scholarly literature with a research paper published in the International Journal for Research in Smart Wearable’s. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has been serving as a member of the IDLS visit team since 2021, reflecting his ongoing commitment to institutional growth and quality assurance.
