Mr. Ramesh D

Mr Ramesh D, Faculty in Footwear department, FDDI Chennai for 12 years, has done his Post graduation MBA in Footwear Design and Production Management, MBA in Management, Certified in LEAN, and has also finished A.F.Tech. (Advanced Footwear Technology) at CFTC, Government of India. Presently working as an Associate faculty in School of Footwear Design and production Management, FDDI, Chennai. Excellent knowledge in Footwear manufacturing process and expertise in Shoe upper cutting and closing Technology. Mr Ramesh D apart from teaching has 17 years of Industrial experience in different companies handling various international shoe brand customers, manufacturing industries and leather goods manufacturing industries, wide interest including New Product development. Good exposure in working with international environment and has travelled to South Africa for professional and skill consultancy work. Mr Ramesh D at FDDI handles Footwear Technology, cutting Technology, skilled in CAM and Conducting Workshops and worked as a consultant and conducted productivity improvement training and skill development, HRD training at footwear industries across south India, trained more than 2500 people. Team Member in Placement and IDLS. Mr Ramesh D is training students in long term, short-term courses at FDDI and conducting Production Management Training Program in Footwear manufacturing industries, Mr Ramesh D actively coordinates workshops, webinars, and seminars related to manufacturing and has published research papers in National & International Conferences and Journals.
