Profile & Biography
Saurabh is a multi-disciplinary artist, academician, and creative professional currently serving as Junior Faculty at FDDI Noida, School of Fashion Design. With over eight years of blended experience in academics and industry, he brings a unique balance of traditional knowledge and modern practice to his teaching and creative work.
An alumnus of MGKVP Varanasi (BFA, MFA) and now a Ph.D. scholar at Mody University Jaipur-Sikar, he has also enriched his learning through professional courses from NIFT Varanasi and ATDC Noida. His core areas of interest include fashion, illustration, photography, drawing & craft, tinkering, and design projects.
As a researcher and writer, he has published 10+ articles, one book chapter, stories, and poems, while also presenting at major national and international conferences. His creative achievements include 6 World Records, 25+ national and international awards, and photography exhibitions in Dubai World Trade Center. His work spans poetry, painting, photography, theatre, tattoo art, and craft, reflecting his diverse creative identity.
Currently, he continues to engage in government-funded projects, handloom development, and national-level design exhibitions, while actively contributing as a member of the Ministry of Textiles (DCH).
