Profile & Biography
In 2009, M Vishva Kumar joined FDDI after more than 2 decades of working in industry and academia. He teaches upper closing technology, shoe finishing technology, material studies and production operation management. Vishva Kumar has done his graduation in leather technology at Anna university, footwear technology at CFTC Chennai and Advance footwear technology at Bata international college of shoemaking in Zlin, Czech republic. He has done a master’s degree in footwear design and production management. While working as an assistant professor in NIFT Chennai and Gandhi Nagar, he had done design and development projects in leather products at Bhuj, Rapar & Tharad clusters at Gujarat (Grimco). He has also done design and development projects in wood products at Kesla village, Madhya Pradesh (MPHHC). He worked as a consultant and conducted productivity improvement training and skill development, HRD training at footwear industries across south India. He also taught footwear technology at Addis Abba science & technology university (AASTU), Ethiopia.
