Ms. Anila Sasi

Ms. Anila Sasi, who graduated from FDDI with a specialization in footwear technology design, was honored as the best designer during her studies. With over 8 years of experience in both the footwear industry and academia, she played a pivotal role as one of the two pioneering designers at Paragon Polymers Pvt Ltd, Kottayam. She also freelanced in customized footwear design and collaborated with the FDDI HRD Training Center to nurture skilled manpower for the footwear industry. Ms. Anila is passionate about expanding her expertise, particularly in design, where she explores color, texture, and various techniques. She continues to delve into solid last modeling, casting, and design education, showcasing her versatility as a practitioner, researcher, and educator. Proficient in software tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, she actively creates various handmade products, demonstrating her diverse talents. Currently, she is researching UI and UX design principles in the footwear industry and has filed a patent for smart wearable technology (Patent Number: 202241069290, Published Date: 16/12/2022). She has also published two research papers in international journals.
