Profile & Biography
Ms. Priya Gothandaraman is a Jr. Faculty in the School of Fashion Design at FDDI, Chhindwara with 7 years of academic and industrial experience in the textile sector. She holds B.Tech (2014) and M.Tech (2019) in Textile Technology from Anna University, Chennai, and has been pursuing her Ph.D. in Textile Technology at Anna University. She has published her research work in a peer-reviewed journal, holds 2 patents, and contributed 4 book chapters. She has presented her works at various national and international conferences. She is skilled in Textile Finishing, as supported by an NPTEL (IIT) certification. She has qualified for the GATE examination.
Priya Gothandaraman has guided students on 12+ academic and industry (Zen Linen International, H&M Chemicals Pvt Ltd) projects and has participated in 25+ Faculty Development Programmes. She serves as a peer reviewer for a reputed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journal. She received an appreciation certificate for her contribution to assessment and accreditation processes related to the University ranking. She organises industry-expert guest lectures and actively mentors the students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
