Profile & Biography
Ms. Sandhya S is a Junior Faculty member in the School of Fashion Design, bringing 5 years of academic experience from her previous tenure as an Assistant Professor at PSG College of Technology. Her educational background is a robust blend of technology and management, featuring a B.Tech in Fashion Technology from PSG College of Technology (2016) and a Master of Fashion Management from NIFT (2019). Currently, she is advancing her academic credentials by pursuing a Ph.D. within the Faculty of Management Science at Anna University, Chennai, focusing on the Department of Textile Technology.
Her expertise lies at the intersection of creative design and commercial strategy, specializing in Sustainable Fashion, Fashion Retailing, Apparel Marketing, and Portfolio Development. Ms. Sandhya is also an active contributor to fashion scholarship, having authored three peer-reviewed research articles and a book chapter published to commemorate the centenary of ICAR. Her research, which explores consumer behavior and product design, has been presented at several leading international conferences. This combination of technical fashion engineering and retail management enables her to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the modern fashion ecosystem.
