🔸Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) was established on 21st July 1986 as a society under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Over the last 39 years, FDDI has evolved into a premier national institute and is today recognized as an Institution of National Importance under the FDDI Act, 2017.
🔸With a pan-India presence across 12 campuses – Noida, Fursatganj (Raebareli), Chhindwara, Rohtak, Patna, Kolkata, Jodhpur, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ankleshwar, Guna, and Chandigarh – FDDI delivers specialized education and training through its four Schools of Learning: Footwear Design (FD), Fashion Design/Product (FDP), Retail & Fashion Management (RFM), and Leather Goods & Accessories Design (LGAD).

Its alumni and partnerships are spread across the globe, further strengthening its reputation as a leader in design and innovation.
🔸On 21st July 2026, FDDI will enter its 40th year of establishment – a historic milestone in its journey of excellence. To mark the commencement of the celebrations, the Institute is pleased to announce the launch of an All-India Logo Design Competition – “FDDI @ 40: Constellation of Excellence.”
🔸The winning logo will serve as the official emblem of the 40 Years celebrations and will be featured across all branding, communications, collaterals, merchandise, and commemorative events.

• The logo must commemorate 40 Years of FDDI (1986–2026).
• It should reflect FDDI’s legacy, pan-India presence, innovation, and future vision.
• Suggested tagline (optional): “FDDI Constellation – 40 Years of Footprints & Futures.”
• Must be original and created digitally. Manual or hand-drawn submissions will not be accepted.
• No clipart, stock images, or plagiarism.
• Clean, professional, and scalable for both digital and print.
• Effective in both color and monochrome formats.
• File formats: JPEG / PNG / PDF (300 dpi resolution).
• Shortlisted entries must provide a vector version (AI/CDR/EPS).
• Maximum file size: 10 MB.
• Use up to 3–4 colors, suitable for RGB and CMYK outputs.
• FDDI brand tones (blue, grey, white) are encouraged, not compulsory.
• Typography must be professional, readable, and well-integrated.
• Each participant can submit up to two entries.
• Each entry must include a concept note (100–150 words) explaining the design.
• File naming format: Name_Campus_FDDI40Logo1/2.
• Submissions to be uploaded via the designated Google Form/Drive link.
• Email subject line: “Digital Logo Design Competition – FDDI @ 40”.
• Last date for submission: 15th November 2025; 23:59 Hour.

• Aesthetic Appeal & Scalability – 20%
• Simplicity & Memorability – 10%
• The winning design will become the property of FDDI.
• FDDI reserves the right to digitally refine or adapt the logo for official use.
